At Kingdom of Hearts, we care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities which encourage their development, right up until they are ready to start the next step in their education.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on Learning and Creativity. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn! We believe that having a thematic environment that helps nurture every aspect of a child's development is key to their future success.
Who We Are
We decided to do things a bit differently here at Kingdom of Hearts! We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.
We wanted to make sure that our childcare was accessible to all, which is why our center is open from 5:30 am to 12:00 am (Midnight).
Providing top-quality childcare is our priority, and we want parents to have peace of mind that, here at Kingdom of Hearts, they will receive support and assistance, regardless of their busy schedules.
Our center is highly secure, so parents can have peace of mind that their child is in the best hands while they are with us. We have security camera systems throughout our center and all visitors have to be buzzed into our building by an experienced and trained member of our team.

What Makes Kingdom Hearts Unique:

About Our School
At Kingdom Hearts, learning is led through your child's spontaneous play and is focused on integrating meaningful learning with engaging activities within our open-plan learning environment.
We follow the Mother Goose Time and Abeka Curriculum, a professionally designed, thematic preschool curriculum that nurtures the whole child and supports social, emotional, and intellectual growth, covering social studies and science subjects.
Infant Program
(Ages 6 weeks - 12 months)
Infants are constantly growing, learning, and changing. So between cooing and cuddling, our teachers delight in your baby’s every advancement and discovery. From rocking and thoughtful interaction, to story time, and naptime, to singing and talking. Kingdom Hearts teachers provide just what your baby needs, all in a safe, clean, and healthy nurturing environment.
Toddler Program
(Ages 1 - 2)
Our toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Gross motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured play. Their days are filled with music, art, dance, story times, and more.
Preschool I
(Ages 3 - 4)
Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. Games abound that teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letters and sound recognition; basic math concepts; and hands-on science exploration.
Preschool II
(Ages 4 - 5)
Mirroring Tennessee's state curriculum standards, our pre-kindergarten program places a strong emphasis on developing foundational skills in reading, early writing, and basic math. The curriculum extends beyond these core subjects to encompass a comprehensive educational experience, including pre-kindergarten reading initiatives, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities, interactive smart board sessions, science exploration, social studies, art, music, and physical education, providing a well-rounded and enriching learning environment.
Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including early-morning and late-night childcare for infants and toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten. Our transportation service also caters to children who attend schools in the local area, ensuring safe and trustworthy journeys to and from our center.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our school! Our mission is to teach, enrich, and empower young children in a safe, fun learning environment through many positive experiences and activities.

What to Expect from Kingdom of Hearts
At Kingdom of Hearts, our goal is to produce happy, intelligent, well-adjusted children. Here you will find a nurturing, educational environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles, and personalities. Our highly qualified teachers and staff are committed to working within each child’s comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional, cognitive, and language education results.
We partnered with the Department of Human Services(DHS) to assist working parents with applying for assistance. We also have a partnership with LeBonheur Early Intervention and Development, TN Child Care Resource and Referrals, and many more.
Healthy chef-prepared meals each day that meet dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, etc.
Events that allow kids to learn more about the world around them like career day, guest speakers, etc.
The chance to celebrate important milestones such as Graduation and birthdays.
The opportunity to explore the arts, through acting, painting, singing and more!
An open-plan learning environment, designed to enhance productivity and socialization.
A state-of-the-art play area where children can learn through play.
Outdoor play that teaches little ones how to respect Mother Nature and interact with her in a meaningful way.
